On 4.12.2008, at 19:00 in the Hotel “Riviera”, Municipality of Ohrid will promote the documentary titled "Recycling program in Ohrid". The documentary is financed with the USAID grant through USAID Plastic Recycling Project.
Tree day was marked by USAID Plastic Recycling Project staff, students and teachers from the PS ''Dimo Hadzi Dimov" in Municipality of Karposh. Despite the rainy and cold wether, students and teachers planted pine trees provided by the Project. In March 2008, students from this primary school took inititaive and organised distrinbution of bags for PET collection to more than 1000 households in Vlae, Municipality of Karposh.
Workshops on "Management and implementation of IPA programs, emphasis on Waste Management"
USAID Plastic Recycling Project will organize workshops on "Management and implementation of IPA programs, emphasis on Waste Management", from 4 the- 7th.12.2008 in BItola, in the Hotel Epinal. Target audience are project partners coming from: Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, ZELS, partner municipalities and NGO's responsible for implementing public awareness campaigns. Because of huge number of participants, the project will organize additional training on the same topic from 15-18.12.2008. The second phase of the training is scheduled for 2009.
