On September 29th, 2008USAID Plastic Recycling Project and it’s partner PUC “Komunalna Higiena” began delivering education classless on recycling in primary schools in Skopje. To date, mixed team of project staff and partners hold on to the agenda and visited schools in three Municipalities: Gjorce Petrov, Centar and Aerodrom. For a first time students had an opportunity to learn what is recycling, what the term PET stands for, which is the symbol for recyclable materials and how should plastic PET bottles be treated.

At the end of each week, on Saturday’s sport competitions were organized in cooperation with the “Fun football project”. Students were competing in different sport disciplines. Croissants and Juices were appreciated after two hours of intense joy and play.

Next round of classes begins on Monday, October 20th, 2008 at PS “ Rajko Zinzifof”, “Krime Kepeski” and “Partenie Zografski”  in the municipality of Kisela Voda.
